From workshops and masterclasses to labs and mentoring, at festivals, film schools or bespoke events, Lupa has the training for you.
Lupa offers tailormade training in English or Spanish to equip both seasoned and budding filmmakers with the tools to build their impact campaign or organizations to leverage the power of film.
These can range from Impact 101 to specific classes on goal definition and issue mapping, participant care, partnership outreach, or pitching with impact.
We also offer sessions for organizations considering working with film, to help ensure they make the most out of the partnership, as well as workshops on subjects like ethical storytelling.
Workshops, panels and labs
Lupa’s founder Kristie cut her teeth working with film projects on impact strategy in Doc Society’s flagship program, Good Pitch. She has since given numerous masterclasses on impact production, including at MAFF in Málaga, CIMA Impulsa, and to the European Women’s Audiovisual network. She has led workshops on impact at Festival L’Atlernativa in Barcelona, DocsConnect in Sitges and VIFF in Vancouver. She has mentored projects at Doxumentale in Berlin, been on panels about impact in DocsBarcelona and taught impact masterclasses in masters programmes at UBA and FUC in Buenos Aires and UPF in Barcelona. Kristie has also been on selection committees and juries for impact projects for film festivals and impact programmes, including Nodo Sur in Colombia and VIFF in Canada.
Outside of the film world, Kristie has given masterclasses to NGOs and Foundations on the power of working with film at the International Fundraising Congress in the Netherlands.
